Dance Showcase 2012

We invite all of our Pre-school and Dance students to participate in our annual Dance Showcase 2012. Our Showcase format is family oriented, informal and reasonably priced. Our costume selections are dancewear type items that can be worn to class after the Showcase. Our program runs according to an approximate general schedule. You may stay for the full show, or leave when your child’s session is over. Times shown are approximate. Look for Showcase Final Newsletter in May for final info including times, directions, hair and make-up etc.

- Ballet/Tap and Musical Theater 2:00 pm
- Jazz and Hip Hop 3:15 pm
Tickets $8.00 general admission. They will be available for purchase at front desk as of May 1st, or at door day of show.
Costume packages are $45.00. The package includes everything you will need to wear on the stage. There are no additional required expenses. Students who take jazz and hip hop pay $45.00 for their first costume and $23.00 for their additional piece for their second costume. We must place costumes orders in February to insure May delivery. Costumes are dancewear based, so they are not very fitted. We suggest ordering larger, to allow for growth.We will have costume samples available to try on at the front desk in January. Your teacher will ask you to come in at the end of class in January to try on and choose your costume size, or you can come to the desk and try the sample costume on your child at your convenience. Please feel free to discuss your sizing preferences with your teacher, or with our front desk staff. Boys’ costumes are usually shorts and a tee shirt. The boys costume price is $20.00. Everyone has their fit preferences, so your size choice is yours. You will be responsible for choosing your own costume size. There are no returns or exchanges, so choose carefully and allow room for growth. Pictures of costumes will be displayed in the office in January. Again, we sincerely hope that all of our students will participate in Dance Showcase 2012. Feel free to speak with other parents. Our end- of – year programs are very relaxed and popular with families. Please return your form to the front desk as soon as possible, but no later than Saturday February 25th with costume payment of $45.00, (plus $23 if you take jazz and hip hop). Checks to CJDG. If you choose not to participate, please return your form as soon a possible with box checked “not participating” and kindly let your teacher know
